Session 1: A global overview
Face-to-face fundraising has faced immense challenges since the start of the pandemic, but fortunately, fundraisers have returned to the street in most countries. How has the situation changed over the past couple of years and how stable are F2F campaigns in the current climate? What new challenges and threats are there on the horizon? Leading experts will give insights into the development of F2F fundraising worldwide and give an outlook what to expect in the near future.

Session 2: Yes we can! – How regulators improve F2F Fundraising’s reputation across the globe
Negative public perception of face-to-face fundraising in many countries has in the past presented challenges in recruiting and retaining F2F fundraisers. But with the establishment of F2F fundraising regulators that bring together agencies and nonprofit organisations, standards have been put in place that have improved the quality of F2F fundraising and, in turn, improved public perception of this vital fundraising method. In this session, you will learn more about international comparability of standards, the importance of the work of regulators, and the recently-established International Public Fundraising Council (IPFC) based in Vienna, Austria which is working to join together regulators across the globe.

Session 3: F2F fundraiser recruitment and retention: Is it time to make a change? (A look at current trends and statistics)
Are you finding it difficult to recruit F2F fundraisers? Would you like to increase both quantity and improve quality in your F2F fundraising to better meet targets? F2F fundraising is a job that gives people of all ages the chance to develop vital transferrable skills whilst also promoting a social cause, yet it has become less attractive to young people. What can we do about this? In this session, we will reveal findings of a survey of Austrian students that provides insight into possible solutions. We will also introduce a new F2F fundraiser certification scheme in Austria that aims to bolster the profession, and we will lead an interactive discussion with you on how you can improve your F2F fundraising campaigns.

Session 4: Leading F2F Fundraising teams to long term success by using the right data
The daily count of new donor signups is one of the most used metrics of F2F fundraising success globally. But is the quantity of signups the best and predictor of success, and the best way to motivate our F2F teams? In this session, we will talk about different approaches – one that looks at quality metrics such as Net Lifetime Value and another one using a playful approach to communicate impact. Learn also about how we can make face-to-face fundraising more efficient by offering more ways to engage!

Session 5: Is your donor experience actually what your donors experience?
Have you mapped out and implemented a donor journey? Excellent! But do you know if your planned donor journey is really what your donors experience? In F2F fundraising, we know that it is our fundraisers’ passion for the cause that inspires members of the public to give. Yet often, many people cancellation their donations early on. Why is this and what can we do about it? While there’s no magic bullet, there *are* ways to analyse, identify and address issues with your donor journeys that can reduce your number of cancellations. Find out how in this panel discussion led by Ali Jones of Oxfam America followed by a live Q&A session.
